Some last pictures –
I posted many pictures today and some of them might be duplicates. A few of the ones posted I have been able to identify, but most are still not clear to me. I would love to find out the different species represented here as well as edible or medicinal uses. I know one of the plants pictured is poisonous but there might be more. Any and all comments appreciated!
So much variety….
Moldavian balm/dragonhead (Dracocephalum moldavica)
I have been told this is Moldavian dragonhead. When you rub the leaves there is a wonderful lemony scent. When I looked it up I found out it is used in teas and apparently is mood-lifting. And it keeps it’s scent when dried.
It also is a very good bee plant apparently.
There also is research on it being able to help altitude sickness. Definitely a plant I want to explore more.
It is said that the  seeds are astringent, carminative, tonic and a source of omega-3 fatty acids and that it is rich in linolenic acid . Seems a keeper.

So many flowers, all so beautiful….
Some more beauties….
Edelweiss and others…
Are these both in the onion family?
And some really beautiful thistles…..
Globe thistle and another which I have not narrowed down yet…
